Our Story
Todd (Papa) and Laura (Bum) have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Laura got the name Bum from our first grandson Cayden. It was the name he gave his grandma and it just stuck. We lived and raised our children in southern California until July of 2022 when we decided to leave a fast-paced life and move to Oklahoma where Laura’s grandparents were born. We wanted to give our youngest son Nick a different upbringing and show him the worth of hard work and growing our own food. We purchased 2 acres in the Texoma area of southeastern Oklahoma. Starting out our farm with just a few chickens, geese, and ducks. We then purchased 2 Tamworth pigs to start the breeding process. Our Mission
We believe in the freedom to know what you are eating, where it was grown, how it was grown, and who grew it. Our goal is to produce the tastiest food from the healthiest soil, harvested at the peak of nutrition, and consumed by our community.
